did you install the disable wire? if so check to make sure its on the right button. i know its a silly question, but ive had two repairs in for this now...................just a silly mistake, and easily remedied.

did you install the upgrade switch? if so make sure nothing is shorting.

take some hirez pictures of your install and post em here..........................

Not very good. But, it was my first install. I didn't install the disabble feature or upgrade. Although i tried to install the upgrade feature but, undid it.

theres pad thats been removed, and this isnt a dead end one either. so you will need to join a wire from the LEG on the IC to the side of the component shown in the diagram. Be very careful, you may want to get someone to do this, if you fluff it its gonna be knackered. repairing bad soldering is one thing, but etting replacement parts, is fairly impossible (this isnt a dig at you).

also you may want to check to see if the 3 points are shorted, it may be a defective chip , one of the cyclowiiz that shipped without the PCB being finished properly.

i`d hedge my bets on it being the removed pad though, as basically its meant to be a circuit, but with the pad removed, it isnt.

hope this helps.
