In regards to the 15w soldering iron, is that an absolute necessity ?
I've got a 30w soldering iron, and although I'm not a complete novice when it comes to soldering but not really soldered such a small chip before, i don't want to be charging in there and messing it up :)

with a 30W you will have more chance of pulling a pad off if you linger too long.
& those points are pretty small and close together so you'll need a slim tip

hi its basically the thinnest type of correct solder i could find. people have been saying to use a thin solder because the points are very small. its very cheap aswel
