AFAIK the only way to do it yourself is either with a gamecube and broad band adapter along with a chip or way to boot homebrew, or a gamecube with a mod chip that has a usb port.

ok
so is it just like ripping a ps2 game etc?
do i just put the game in my dvd rom drive, and then use nero or alchol 120% to rip the game?
then burn it?

it is *impossible* to backup a game without using your gamecube, listen to AceMilo, it is the ONLY way

Huh? Not without a GameCube? I thought you could do that with Rawdump 2.0 and the proper LG DVD reader?
