i was told to update my infinity chip from 1.38 to 1.39 burnt the disk and put in my ps2 the screen come up and prompted me to press start to upgrade i then got told on screen the upgrade had failed reebotted my ps2 and now nothing but a blank screen what do i do now no ps2 browser no nothing any help would be fantastic

not sure if this works or not but its in the read me.
NOTE : You can always recover from a bad flash by hoding the reset button until
==== the blue eject light turns on. This will let you boot the upgrade disc
to reflash your Infinity.

hi mate yeah i did try that and i dont have a blue light i have a green one i looked around seems as if i have a cloned chip and the update has rendered it useless

now that sux, sorry bout that. just curious, did u know u had a clone when u bought or just now? just trying to see the signs to make sure i dont have one.

bought a premodded with what i thought was a matrix infinity by all accounts the only way you tell a fake is by oprning it up and i wont do that im going to get in touch with the guy and hope he will sort it out for me

well i contacted the guy and the matrix infinity team the team said sounds like a fake ask him to open it up in front of you and the guy said he will sort it out for me next week so i will keep you posted on what happens
