It looks okay, but I personally hate how the jewel and power button are recessed, it looks retarded to me. The features are pretty cool though.

1. Includes Power / Status LED's
2. Easy to remove discs (Custom "Front Lip")
3. Removable rear handle
4. USB / Serial Sockets
5. Several different colors (ala Xbox)
6. Replaceable Jewel / Custom Jewel Designs
7. Highest Quality Mould process - no "Made In China" cheap ass pish
8. Complete replacement case - not just the lid and top part of case

I don't need one, as I use mini dvd-rs, but I know that these will be high qaulity, and alot of people will like/purchase them.

what i'm wondering about is point #4, the Serial sockets, i dont' recall nothign availabel to the scene so far that uses serial, and i can't see what it can be used for.

Yeah, I don't know what you would use serial for, but I'm sure it has something to do with one of their future products along with the USB. They could possible be creating a USB hard drive interface:eek:

Very nice. Finally someone got it right. Glad to see the led is still intact and it looks like it's gonna be very simple to remove games with the front lip.

It looks pretty cool. There are changes of course but they look alrite IMHO. Depending on price I may buy (yay, official Xecuter store in Aus!)
Where is the LED I wonder. I thought the thing next to the lip was but in the second pic it seems to be just a sticker...

I had hoped it would have been a USB HDD addition and not a case though :(

The picture is tiny, I can't really tell the difference with the picture so small.

The cut away at the front is what makes it great. It'll be so simple to remove the game from the front. The final version might not make it look cut away though like the above pic shows.


The only problem I have with it thus far is the recessed jewel. If they get rid of that I'll buy it in a heartbeat.

Hopefully not too long. They look pretty nice. I just hope they get rid of the recessed jewel; it looks pretty tacky to me.

Has anyone seen the frosted cases? They look pretty cool. I still think I just want a regular color case and then I'll paint it and do some led mods to make it look good.

i can see an mod for the serial for the viper, so all you gotta do is plug the serial adapter into your gc so we dont have teh viper serial laying around.its inside gc now :)

I'm looking for a new case and this one seems to be the best. I looked at the ones on gamecubecases.com and those cover the power led plus they don't look as nice. With my qoob chip here in a couple of days it would be nice to use the usb slot built-in. I guess well have to wait and see when they go on sale.

He means a parallel port for programming the viper. But I have to say, then it would be near impossible to flash the chip. It's hard enough as it is connecting the pc to the programmer with about 2 inches of breathing room. I can't image it with no room at all.

What does "X2" means?
I want to see pics of the case when it's closed.

A slot/holder for the chip would be good. The slot maybe could be located in the bottom part of the case or something. I hate that the chip is just floating in the air.

The LED "glass"... shouldn't it have a neutral colour, so we could pic which colour we want on the LED?

This case looks awsone! I'm going to buy it when it comes out, no doubt.

X2 is one of their chips/bios's for xbox.

And as for the color of where the led shines through, I'm sure it will be clear, it's just looks orange because the gamecube is on(and yes I know those are computer made pictures, so the cube really isn't "on"), but you get my point.

Oh, and my Viper isn't floating, I used double stick foam stuff to stick it to the fan assembly.

A little too authentic, if you get my meaning. They do look superb though, defintely going to be ordering one of those when they come out.

TX normally create really high quality items, the gamecubecase.com ones look very primitive in comparison.

No my question was which software was used because it looks so real but I know it isnt real.
So I asked because I dont think standard 3d modeling programs could make 3d pics like this one. Must be a special software.

Just seems to hard to install. Im a noob at modding, and the cases at www.gamecubecase.com looks dahm easy to install. After all the case they sell does wat i want it to do, fits Full Size DVD-R. And with a clear case, the power LED will be there. And im guessing X's cases will cost much more.

damnit... when the hell are these cases going to be available?? My money is burning a hole in my pocket for a full dvd-r case... the TX case looks amazing, and the "other" brands look amazingly shoddy, but I just don't know how long I can wait for this one without a release date!
