any uk retailers for dvdr gamecube mod cases

This is a little offtopic but do you plan on stocking the Qoob modchip for courier modding ie sending in a GC to be modded by you with a Qoob chip coz I have a GC here which needs a Qoob chip and a fullsize dvd-r case.

Do you keep the original case thats removed or send it back? :D

The postage cost are

£11.00 for APC Overnight Couriers
£5.25 Special Delivery whitch is also next day delivery.
£2.00 (Royal Mail Registered Light)

and the price of the case has droped to £15

will the £2.00 (Royal Mail Registered Light)
postage cover the case?

yep, total for a case in the UK will be £17.49 delivered or there about via paypal. Ive seen a lot of sites charging £24 for the case without shipping etc. so got to be one if, if not the cheapest in the UK at the moment ;)

gamecube case = £14.99
postage (recorded) = £2
paypal charges = £0.49 (or there abouts)

Dropped the prices because :-

A. its competitive
B. I wanna sort people out , yeah i make a few quid , but thats the whole point

C. i managed to get a better price by ordering more (first shipment was a tester, see how things goe.

as for keeping the original cases, no, if you send me your cube, you get your original case back.

however the premods ive got and sell , i keep the original cases, gonna sell em @ £10 each, brill for the modders out there , they will be up on site tomorrow ;)

qoob chips, still investigating those, if i can stock em, i`ll be offering the service..

please bear with me site still under finishing touchs, hard going, never done it before, and its my first atempt (oscommerce)

but yeah, also trying to source gamebits as cheap as possible.

and will have spice coloured cases next week and crystal when they become availible


as for postage, at the moment, ive only got my usual xbox couriers @ £11 which is a little over priced for the weight of the cube , however the smaller items can be shipped by either uk recorded, or by special delivery, it alculates the weigh>price for you.

i`m in negotiation`s with couriers at the moment, to see if i can do a better deal for these and also checking out parcel force etc.
main reason i use apc is because they are very reliable, unlike "parcelsdontgo" ;)

To add onto this thread, are there any good US retailers. The ones I usually go to don't have much gamecube stuff in. For instance, divineo only has the viper. Nothing really else.

If you don't end up stocking Qoob modchips for any reason, would you still mod a GC with a Qoob if the console and the Qoob chip were sent to you for ofcourse a reduced price since materials are provided so only labour charge (which would be?).

but still lookin into to stockin them now.

webbys a ballache to update, i do things one way, then find a better way to do it, then have to redo it all again etc, steep lurning curve but i`m getting there ;)

Ok so heres a sort of TUT or Faq whatever you wanna call it about these lids, including good quality piccys . Ive covered all the minor problems ive run into whilst fitting these.

Overall i`m very happy with them for price and functionality they "do exactly whats on the tin" to coin a phrase.
