Unchecked Burnproof solved Dres

Yes!
My Dres in 1080avalanche are gone... (played for 1 hour)
I unchecked every option (burnproof,smart-burn and high-dvd mode)
Finally it seems i got my Lite-On 811s to work
with the ritek04 minis.
But it ran out of the minis and already ordered 4,7gigs. When i order the next pack of minis i want to be sure that it works 100%.
Is it really the solution to uncheck the optionboxes? Did it solve your dre-problems with ritek04 minis?

even 110 ohms = DREs

220 ohms with burnproof off = NO MORE DREs!!

after a few hours .. again a dre :-( its so sad..
but with the "big" ones, go4 ridisc burnt 4x, no problems at all...
thus i gave up with the minis ... hopefully a good case will be available soon in germany ;-)

Like so many things dealing with the gamecube The burnproof option probably also has something to do with the type of DVD burner/media you are using. That is the only explination I can think of for some people saying it helps and some people saying no change.
