How do you get your wii to boot backups again after using the ntsc-j to ntsc patcher?

I used the patcher and it didn't boot the ntsc-j now none of my ntsc backups work. I saw several people said to cycle the power but i've already done that, none of my backups work anymore. I tested an original ntsc game and it did work. btw, i own a ntsc wii. thanks.

Pull the power out for at least an hour.

When powered on hold the power button untill the power led burns red.

Also hold the power button when starting the console untill the first screen.
