memorex dvds help!!!!

hi can anybody tell me if memorex dvds work good for the wii when your using backups???

The Memorex DVD's I have are Ritek dye, so they should be good, but my chip isn't going to get here till tomorrow or Saturday, so I don't know for sure yet.

I have burned about 12 backups on memorex at 4x with a sony burner and have had 100% success ratio, i will use nothing but them from now on, but im also a frim believer that any media will work and it isnt the disks fault if you get a bad burn, its the burner.I swear by my Sony burner.

I've used them for all my backups at 16x on an nec and havent had one problem yet

same subject different brands. didn't' want to start a whole new thread.

I ordered a wiikey from modchipstore and it ships overnight on the 5th. I have a few games I have backed up, but I don't know what media to use. I have read multiple threads, but have never seen the brands I use (sorry if I missed them). I have piles of DVD-R's here and really do not want to have to buy more if I do not have to. I have SONY 16x DVD-r, TDK 16x DVD-r, and verbatim 16x DVD-r's. By far Verbatim are my favorites. I think verbatim has been mention b4. Anyone try these brands yet? Also, I have a bad taste in my mouth after two 50 packs of memorex. Over 50% would just freeze up in my drive and stop burning.

I also have an NEC-3500AG burner.

I think it's more probably the Wii DVD drive. Smooth Moves works fine but then once I got a read error. I popped the disc out and then back in again and it read it fine. I have only ever once had this read error. So the errors are intermittent. I use Ritek dye with no brand name at 8x and everything works fine.

EDIT: I need a thesaurus. I use the word fine too much.
