Cyclowiz only plays some games.. any suggestions?

So.. I got my chip installed.. solid green light.. when I insert a disc.. the light turns off momentarily and then turns back on solid. This is an NTSC console The status of games for me is:

Elebits - works fine.. stutters like most people
Metal Slug Anthology - works fine
Red Steel - Get to menus.. when I go to load the first level.. it just stays on the loading screen(spinning disc in lower right corner)
Sonic and the Secret Rings - Can launch disc.. see a loading status icon.. then screen stays black
Excite Truck - discs just keep spinning in the Disc Channel.. even after I eject
Trauma Center - discs just keep spinning in the Disc Channel.. even after I eject

I am using Taiyo Yuden TGY02 discs.. tried 2x and 4x burn speeds. Any help would be appreciated.

Try writing at 8x if those discs allow, I had a problem with TYG03 not working at 4x, but great at anything over 8x ...hth

No luck with that for excite truck..

Is this green light pattern what everyone else is seeing who has their stuff working?

I dont know much about TGY02 discs, but are you using DVD-R or DVD+R?

I'm using DVD-R.. I am thinking it could possibly be my burner.. I was using an NEC 3520A.. just picked up a Pioneer that I can cross flash to a 111D to try.

did you have the wire to reset button, if you have it remove and you will see.

I was using an NEC 3520A... and I just tried a Pioneer 111D and every game so far with the 111D works fine. Same media(Taiyo Yuden TYG02)
