I installed the cyclowiz into the wii and everything went rather smoothly (not the first time I soldered a modchip into a console). When I pieced everything back together and tried the wii, it wouldnt power on. NO POWER WHAT SO EVER. No led light showing that its off. NOTHING. Anyone else have this issue? Any resolutions?

Thanks for the quick response guys! If anyone out there actually wants to help, I found that a screw got loose and was on the motherboard. Seems to have shorted something out. I investigated and it appeared as if the fuse was blown (right next to the power supply - 6.3A is marked on top of it). I couldn't find a replacement and just wanted to see if the chip was installed so I bypassed the fuse with a small wire. No more short. I went to power it on and still nothing. If I use a multimeter and check the ohms I get resistance at all places (no other shorts found) but it still doesn't work. Any ideas as to what to do next? I am hoping the motherboard isn't fried.

You could have blown other fuses. One guy fixed his by bypassing one of the fuses marked "Z" (or"N" depending on which way you look at them!). Use your multimeter on these to see if there is a problem.
