i have SATA connectors, but LG GDR 8164B drive which is a IDe DVD ROM, just wondering if theirs a sata drive out theirs i can use? or theirs an adapter or something thanks all

Hmmm one option would be to buy an external 5.25 USB2.0 enclosure.

Also, they should have SATA to IDE converters but check the customer reviews and make sure CD/DVD drives are supported.

And the last simple option I can think of is buy an PCI, or PCI-X IDE controller board. Plug right into your mobo and connect the drives that way.
