From what I understand,
Cyclowiz - Pushed by this site. V1 works with most Wiis. V2 works with All. Boots all games. Is available now. Proven. Works.
WiiKey - Competition. Works will all Wii's. Allows 70% of NTSC games to work with PAL Wii's. Eeasy install. Proven. Works.
Pretty much any chip will set you back $50 + install. There's others, but those 3 are most popular. Let us know how everything goes!

I would say avoid the revision 1 cyclowiz like the plague. If they were that good why make a revision 2 so soon.
Had one so not just saying it for the sake of it. Wiikey and Wiinja dont seem to have any of the issues and just work.

I would get Wiikey because it is first true updateable chip (flash onboard). Wiinja and CycloWiz use chipset that is not really meant to be updated and very dangerous to attempt flash.

Because v1 didn't support the d2b chipset.

They also fixed the bugs with the PAL games in V2.

1. Didnt support db2
2. Sound Issues on a number of games
3. Some pal games dont work period.
4. Still no magical update
5. Other chips work better from day one.
6. Offers nothing the other working mods do already.

The difference is cyclowiz v1 is ****, read the post

TBH whatever chip you "invest" in now will probably be crap a couple of months down the line.
If it wasn`t for the fact that I am waiting the scene out a bit, then I would probably go for the wiikey or wiinja, not cylowiz.

The chap is asking which to buy, I said not the cyclowiz one for the above reasons.
You want to recommend he buys one?

You know What....If you can, just wait till the end of the week to see If the cyclo update functions correctly. Then compare them all, then make a decision. This way you won't shortchange yourself.

I could care less which one he buys. 1st thing he should do is learn to read and make his own descision. He is not going to get a good answer by asking this question on this forum. Also the wiininja version 1 had almost all of the same problems that you are pointing out for the cyclowiz. i personally ordered a wiikey.

Well if you dont care which one he buys why answer his post, if you havent got a cyclowiz or havent had the problems why bother adding your tuppence.
Me? Have a cyclowiz v1 so can comment its not worth getting or getting a revision 2 as its in stock soon.
Whats the point in getting a revision 1 and have to update it?
Grr dont you have an appointment at McDonalds or something?
