WOOT!!! WOOT!!! My first ever mod chip install and it went off with out a hitch all thanks to you guys and all the helpfull tips everyone had!! :) Thanks guys. I also took an old board and practiced ALOT!! I did a wired install incase I want to put in a better chip down the road. I didnt do the disable chip or the upgrade switch even though I have the switch connected to the case. I thought if i need or want those down the road I'll do it. I just wanted to see of I could play back ups first, and I can ;) I tried maxell dvd +r's first and with a benq 1655 burnner and changed the book type to dvd rom and didnt work. So i went around town looking for verbatim -r's and it seemed like no one had any but the last place i went had some and I burnt my game and BAM!! it worked. Long story short, I did it....lol Thanks again to everyone for all the help!! :)

Glad to hear everything worked! Now my turn to order a modchip and give it a shot haha

good luck dude :) I think if you practice first on some small points on an old board, you will be fine. I opened up the wii just to see how small the points were then looked for points that small on my board. and it was all good :)
