Bongo Modding

Hey, I know a lot of ppl prolly dont like the new nintendo games that incorprate the use of ur hands with bongos as controllers. I was the same way until i actually played the new DK Junglebeat game and I got hooked. I was just wondering if anyone out there has done any sort of modding to them like making them light up when you hit the drums. I want to make mine light up like they do in the game. The left side yellow and the right side red. If anyone has already done this and written a mod please post a link. Thanks

Yeah, I've done this but I need to get a new camera before taking pictures. I did it for a friend back when the game came out and If i can remember, you need to cut a cavity because the bongos are solid. thats why they don't even make noises :D

i took them apart last night and they i dont know how i would go about lighting them up. I put some lights in different places and just turned them on using batteries but there seemed to only be a few places that the light would actually shine thru and not actually light the entire thing but im interested in seeing how you did yours and how they turned out

I play Donkey Konga ALOT. Got gold on al 2 player song in DKa2 today and bought the last sounds. DKa3 next. ^^
