Hi guys,
Is there any tool/way that can convert .gds save format (found in gameshark DS website) to any of the popular .sav format etc?
thanks in advance

I would also like to know this, as it's the only format i found a 100% diddy kong racing save in.
I would assume that as it is only about 10kb, it has been compressed. I remember reading that there was another form of compressed save that you could extract by trimming the first 24 bytes off it and saving it in .7z format, then extracting

You haveto extract the save from the .gds
Trim off the first 24 bytes with a hex editor and then save the gds as "save.7z" then extract it with winrar

Except, I tried that method and it didnt seem to work at all for me. :\
this is what I tried for children of mana.
First I downloaded the save file directly from http://xs.gameshark.com/xploder/xploderui.asp?PID=94&SID=4332744&gameid=19562&tab=gs
Then I Opened it with a Hex Editor
and I started with

So I trimmed off the first 24 byte which turned the file into this

Tell me if I did something wrong here because I'm a noob at hex editing, so the only way I tried was from a guide from wikipedia. They said "Hexadecimal is primarily used in computing to represent a byte, whose 256 possible values can be represented with only two digits in hexadecimal notation." and "Each 2-digit (1 byte)".
Then I saved the file as save.7z, but I couldn't extract the file with winrar.
I would get the error message "The file type is either in unknown format or damaged."

I don't know why you guys are doing it so difficult, just use gds to sav:
