hello guys (and girls) I'm new here but I've been reading this forum for about a month now. I'm also participating in some other GC forums and one in french where a user has found something interesting about DRE and media issue. So I wanted to share that with you.
A good GC Iso must be 1.425.760 KB (712880 Sectors) that everyone knows.
But when you load that ISO in Nero, in the INFO tab you will see that the disk appears to be 1.426.060 KB!! and if you burn that disk and use any prog (like alcohol120) to get the iso back you will see that now your iso on your Hard Drive is only 1.426.060 KB (713040 sectors)!!
Now load the originall ISO (not the one changed by nero) with CloneCD, you will see that it reads 712880 Sectors and if you burn it and then extract it again on your HD it will be 1.425.760 KB exactly like the original one.
I don't know what nero does to the iso but it appears that using CloneCD or DVD you will have less DRE.
The guy that did the test had a DRE on RE4 when entering the village and with the disk burnt with CloneCD that DRE is simply gone (he used same media, same burner and same speed)

hope it helps some of you.
