View Full Version : Universal and Fox Fighting over Halo $$$
Fox and Universal are reportedly fighting over the Halo movie budget. You can imagine the kind of stuff they're fighting about, who pays what, when and in what percentage.
Well, Universal and Fox are now battling over Halo's roughly $12 million in pre-production costs. I'm told the two studios are at an impasse over who pays what. (According to an impartial spource, while the money was being paid out, Fox chose to play a secondary role. But now Fox is balking at splitting the costs 50-50 and claiming Uni should have asked permission prior to forking over some of those expenses...) The end result is that Uni is itching to send Fox one of those "pay up or we'll sue" letters.

Um...Doom actually wasn't that bad. >.> If you wanted to use a bad game/movie adaptation for your comparance, you should have said Bloodrayne.
Though, your conception of the Covenant is way off, they are an advanced race, much more intelligent the human beings. And you don't understand how they can make weapons? My guess is a lot easier then Cavemen made fire.

And yet they'll just stand there 'Stone Stupid' and allow any Player to come along and, mow 'em down.
Yep that's a BIG SIGN of Intelligence where I come from. (Oh BTW: Here's your Sign!) lol.
Well this Move couldn't be any worse then those aforementioned above, and having just recently getting the DOA Movie in my Local Rental Place.
I'd have to say, that While it was definitely better then most, I'm not sure I could've done a better job with it (the DOA Movie), myself.
I needn't say that this Movie was tolerable for DOA Crazed Fanbois (such as myself), and likely a good runner-up for Joel and his Bot's (i.e. MST3k),.
But, on that note, we'll know how bad Video Game Movie adaption are, were there ever really any good ones'?!
