We received a nice and polite e-mail from a member of the Microsoft team which asked for any hosted pictures of the Halo 3 alpha to be deleted. They stated that they are property of Microsoft and not allowed for public use, we are of course removing the pictures completely and would advise any other webmasters to do the same :). Seeing as MS have been so supportive of the gaming media in general with blogs such as MajorNelson etc we'll let this one slide. BUT it does not mean we will chicken out on posting any future leaks and you can be sure there will be plenty to come!

Yes, they are nice, polite and organized. But the pictures were leaked on the weekend, so the majority would have seen them.

Technically they can't do much more then ask. Remember when Apple sued that blog for leaking info on a breakout box for Garageband or something like that? Well they lost the legal battle because the blog didn't sign any kind of NDA, in fact, they didn't have any relation with apple other then being a place that posts new info. Also, the blog was protected the same as regular journalists. Unless you were the tester that took the pictures, you can't get in trouble.

Grow a spine.

Rofl. It's not being scared you dumbass. It's about common courtesy. They asked nicely so why not take them down? Like he said, most people already got a look at them. If they would have been like "Take it down or else we're going to sue you!" like a lot of companies would have been, and then Zeus did just that, THEN you could say grow a spine.

As for mhz, I think you're thinking of the wrong pictures. The pictures with the Mongoose were released by Bungie. The pictures from the online alpha or whatnot where put up here from another website a couple days ago. They didn't really show anything at all aside from some nice textures on trees for a far off finished version.

If you really want to see it, youtube has a video off a screen showing some of the weapons and such. Bad quality but it's something. BTW, the pistol is back from the original.

I'd love to see them reinstate a banned user when they ask politely after being banned for some pathetic bs by a certain power tripping mod who has a fetish for showing off his ugly biceps.

Why do you post here? You constantly ***** about everything and obviously don't play videogames cause you have no clue about anything unless you read about it. Please, go away. I don't need to see you in every news reply.
