i got mine the other day and i just got another mail about the invite again telling me to watch my inbox again for the next step

Phase Two of registration is now closed. If you were one of the first 13,333 gamers to meet the "Rule of Three" program eligibility requirements* you would have received an email notification in the last 24 hours.

For those of you that didn't make it, don't worry. There is still one more way to secure entry into the Halo 3 multiplayer public beta: purchase a copy of the upcoming game CrackdownTM before the Halo 3 beta period.

Crackdown hits store shelves in North America on February 20th, and will be specially marked with a Halo 3 sticker before the beta begins. Pre-order Crackdown today from our retail partners below:

* To receive a Halo 3 Beta Invite, you must be one of the first 13,333 gamers 17 years and older in the 50 United States (includes District of Columbia) and Canada to participate in at least three hours of Halo 2 multiplayer sessions on a Xbox 360 console via Xbox Live during the three (3) day period beginning February 1st at 12:01 am EST and ending February 3rd at 11:59 pm EST and register for the Rule of Three program via at www.halo3.com beginning on February 5, 2007. Limit one registration per person/Xbox Live gamertag. The beta is available in English only.

i was given the shaft on the halo beta invite. I got the lovely email that lets you know that if you didnt get the invitation to buy crackdown

Even in America you had to buy Crackdown, or at least have your 360 flashed so you could get the game from online. lol

Sorry to hear that you got the shaft Whackawookie. :p I guess you'll have to get Crackdown or wait until November. I'll just wait, patience is a virtue.

I got my invite on Jan 22 @ 6:30 PM and this is what it said:

Congratulations MY NAME, you have been chosen to participate in the Halo® 3 beta.

In order to participate, you must have access to:
-An Xbox 360TM Pro console or Xbox 360 Core console with hard drive
-A valid Xbox Live® Gold subscription

Keep an eye on your inbox, we will be sending more information about this opportunity soon.

And I'm still waiting for a follow up.
