flash2advance writer help please

Hi I have quite a few GBA carts that no longer load up or work at all.

Using a flash2advance writer is it possible to write a rom over the dud cartridge and get it working again.

I do believe that commecial GBA Carts are write-once carts.

So I doubt it would be possible.
