I am using 4x burnt Ritek Mini Dvd-R's, for my backups. They are burnt at 4x on my NEC 3520a. However, the backups are very very noisy. I'd like to quiet them. Any suggestions? The reading of these backups, makes quite a bit of noise.

Metal Gear Solid TT is very noisy with all the streaming. Any suggestions? Thx

With my Xbox and PS2 I prefer to play from silent Hard Drive, however that is not possible here. Any ideas? I thought this community would have some fresh ideas.

I'm thinking about getting a new case for the gamecube, when the new Full DVD-R tops come out. My spring is busted anway. Would using a higher quality full dvd-r help? Like a Taiyo Yuden? Thx

i personally use Taiyo Yoden and i can tell you, they're very quiet, the laser reads them very easily, and they haven't failed in over 4 cubes tested, tweaked and un-tweaked lasers. i give htem 5 thumbs up, go w/ Taiyo's

TYG02, i bought two spindles one 50 4X and another 50 8X, but my burner let me burn both at 12X (running on offical 1.19 for a 108) and they both have the same code TYG02. the information for both disc has been taken w/ DVDInfo Pro
