 I charged my PSP using a madcatz charger/Usb connector I've been using it for a year now and all of a sudden today It decides to have the plastic yellow tip that you put in the psp to melt and get stuck in my psp. and now I can't get it out. My warranty expeired and I opened my PSP to change faceplates so I can't return it. I tried getting a paper clip hot and trying to pull it out and that did nothing. so if theres anyway I can get to it another way please help thanks.

I have the same problem. If anyone knows of a way to get the damn thing out of the psp, please post any suggestions you may have.

look at the attached pic. Take off the faceplate. The top of the plug is raised up a little. Use a razor blade and slice off the raised part. You can stop bfore you get all the way to the front, so It won't be noticable from the outside. Cutting the top off doesn't affect charging at all. The charger still fits in there nice and snug.
