A new version of a Spectrum emulator has been released. This updated version has a few fixes and 'should keep you happy' according to the developer.

Changelog

Fixed .z80 loading routine. More .Z80 snapshots will now be accepted.
Fixed flag behaviour in DAA instruction to fix problems in Head over Heels.
Fixed HALT instruction (again!) to fix crash in Starquake.
Implemented a few undocumented instructions.
Optomised display routines.
Hooked up X and Y buttons.
Corrected Sinclair 1 and 2 joystick assignments.

Cool... but what does the Spectrum play? I guess I never heard of it, I'm not a big time retro game fan.

The spectrum was a cracking old machine from way back in the 80s.

That was the first computer I had and it is where I first dipped my toes into the ocean that is software engineering. I started out with a 48k rubber keyed version which I really loved.

I will be trying the spectrum emulator out later tonight. Hopefully great memories will come flooding back :)
