Japanese 360 Goes Budget

Microsoft has slashed the prices of FOUR Xbox 360 titles across Japan. Soon Perfect Dark Zero, Chrome Hounds, Burnout Revenge and Battlefield 2 Modern Combat will be cut in price by a masive 2,800 YEN.


Continuing its steady push across the pond, Microsoft Japan has announced additional titles for its Platinum Collection series of budget re-releases. Starting 3/15, Perfect Dark Zero, Chrome Hounds, Burnout Revenge and Battlefield 2 Modern Combat will join the series. Each title will be sold at a price of 2,800 yen, a large drop from the 6,800 yen original cost.

Actually...PDZ is one of the top selling 360 games in Japan, same with CHROMEhounds and Burnout Revenge. Burnout is actually more of a Japanese style racing game. Burnout has always been about the high speed, drift racing...the type that was made famous from Japanse street racers.

According to www.x-rates.com the Exchange Rate (as of 02/08/07) is ¥157.959(JPY) to the Euro, which would then make ¥2800(JPY) equal to €17.7261(EUR),.

So lets split Hairs and call it a flat €18.00(EUR),.
And that's the Price point at which all Videogames should be sold at!!
