Viper came out before qoob even if it didnt have no swap at the time... quoob might be the first BIOS to have no swap but certainly not the first MODCHIP... anyway if this 1.0 stuff is true then i guess qoob is just a copy.:rolleyes:

I can't understand all this talk about the QOOB.

So The Cobra/Viper team gave a beta tester the bios for testing...And this guy gave it to the makers of the QOOB, and they managed to decrypt the Bios!!!! How did they do that???

well, let's see...they had two weeks to do it and considering the large profit they would've gotten had they got the chip out before cobra 1.0, they probably busted their asses.

the audio fix isn't even a big deal. cobra was probably too busy with other things (i.e. - no swap) and decided to fix it later. So even if qoob does fix it...so what?

PS2BanZ reported that a no-swap chip is on the make at the time when we were testing Cobra 0.4......!!!! And they were excited about it!!!!! They have said they will be the first to test it I guess!!!!! There is something wrong

k guys here's a lil info for every1 around here, any1 that knows more than the general public knows this is true. Cobra 0.4 was supposed to be swapless, I guess they just couldn't squeeze it in time, so to say that qoob is first no-swap, u're dead wrong. viper was working on no-swap long ago just couldn't make it in time, and until today it's still the first no-swap, beta testers don't count, it's like a game that's coming out and say that it was out in 2002 cause that's when the beta testing started, let's be reasonable, what's out into the public's hands is what's considered first out, not first on testing phase. also i know of some ppl that ordered the qoob but that still didn't get it, which in theory makes the chip not released yet.
