boot fault help pleaze!!!!

have fitted a messiah3.7 with fix 2 in my version 12 ps2 but now it boots to browser screen the six or so balls come together and freeze as one big ball and thats it, dvd drive not spinning,can actually toggle thru browser menu but won't run a game due to dvd not spinning i suppose,have checked for solder splash and bridging wire and joints ok ,even removed mods but still same,help pleaze!!!!!!:(

get a multimeter and recheck ALL of your connections, sometimes its almost impossible to see a splash by eye. make sure you can tug a little bit on each wire so you know you've soldering that wire good. I've done over 100 ps2 mods and I can speak from experience.

cheers rivlez ,did check all connections with meter,allseem sound and also checked thru to alternative points for continuity,so removed mod and fault is still present, will keep looking and reading ,Thanks once again.

i have the same problem like yours, still looking for professional help on this problem. any1 who has solved this problem plz post a reply here.
