Some MP3's not listed on Moonshell (M3 Simply)

Hi, I have an M3 Simply with a 2GB Sandisk MicroSD card. I have uploaded approx 300 MP3's to the card, however some of the MP3's arent even being shown on the list inside moonshell 1.6 final. I can confirm the MP3's not showing on my DS are present on the MicroSD card.

How come some MP3's aren't listed?

NOTE: ALL MP3 files are listed on DSOrganise

seem the moonshell max list is 255 maximum file. did you try to count how many did it display?

The Moonshell limit for MP3's must be 255, because thats exactly how many MP3's Moonshell is displaying. Is there a way to increase the limit? Why even have a limit?

I can view them all fine in DSOrganise but that application doesnt have an automatic idle standby function of 10 seconds like Moonshell (meaning the backlight for both screens are always on, causing large power drain)

You can change the max number of files in the config file.

or you could try putting the rest of them into a separate folder.

Thanks, I had a look at an ini file and found the max limit is 256, I have increased this to 600 and Moonshell reads all my music files now so thanks all!

I have a question? Which .ini file did you change? Also, where within the .ini file do I change the value?

in the newer version of moonshell, go to the customize page in the system menu and change the value there.
