Mobo or Laser?

My PSP will no longer read games. I'm n ot sure if it's the LAser or the Mobo... Here's what happens. If I put a game in and turn the unit on... It Hangs at the Blue screen... If I pop the game door open, it will load to the Browser... If I put the game back in, it wont detect it.

I thought it might be a bad laser, but I replaced the laser, and nothing changed... Could it be a bad motherboard?

Has anyone else experienced this problem? Any Ideas?

strange I replied to this thread 2 days ago and my reply was here till this evening, now it's gone??

They had to do a roll-back on the forum yesterday due to problems when updating the server. A LOT of posts were lost.
