sound but no picture

i dropped and cracked my old screen so got a new one with built in back light installed as stated but no picture the sound works fine and when tried in a friends console the screen worked fine so that cant be the problem any ideas what could be causing this?

does the screen light up but no image or do you get no light at all?

If no light then you probably need to check the fuse on the motherboard and see if it needs to be replaced/bridged to send power to the backlight circuit.

If the fuse is ok, check to see if you have 33 volts on pins 1 and 4 of the backlight header. if no voltage then you need to check the fuse again.

If like one of mine only 3.9 volts, it looks like your screwed and need another motherboard. :(
