Not a bad deal that, at christmas in Morrisons they were selling Tony Hawks Project 8 for £32, they seam to have games slightly cheaper there than in the game shops, Viva Pinata is around £37 too.

king kong = garbage, final fantasy was never more than £25 (has pay monthly fee).
If you check on play.com they often sell a few titles for £25, latest I've see is PES6, Dead Rising, Saints Row and Smackdown, Ghost Recon is £18 and NFS:MW is £16

It was inevitable that games would come out alot cheaper, I'm suprised that there hasn't been a £19.99 or £24.99 budget range out yet for the original launch titles. Mind you the RRP on most games of £50 was only stuck to by the usuall rip off price shops, most sell them at the still High Price of £40. Mind you the likes of tesco tend to buy in bulk and buy outright meaning that they can't return to the supplier. I guess this low pricing just shows how much of a mark up there are on games even if they are older ones, when shops like this can undercut the competition by so much. More retailers should follow suit, I expect they will sell far more when games are in the price range of most kids pocket money (well maybe a couple of weeks as opposed to a month or 2).

This is a good thing!.
But they should also extend this thing the other games, if they want wanted to fight the piracy the only thing it is to demolish the prices.
