Hi

I posted in the wrong section...sorry for double post.

I dropped my psp. The wifi switch was loose it would not switch on/off. I opened up the psp and got to the mobo. The switch on the mobo was cracked and the actual plastic switch housed in the metal casing fell out.

Is there a way to solder the board or fix it so that it will be at least on permanently?

Thanks for your help.

i had the same problem dropped my psp last weekend and broke the wifi switch.. just solder the top contact to the middle contact and remove the switch altogether and you'll be fine.. wifi will be on permanently so battery life is a little decreased but hey at least you have wifi and no faulty switch.. i hated that switch anyways.. kept accidentily switching wifi off during the middle of an online games ;)
