N64 on GC without BBA

Is there/Will there be a way to play (and save) n64 games on your cube without streaming it trough a BBA with the ROM injector?

i dont really think this is the proper place to post this it should probably be moved to homebrew software

also since the emulator we have now is ripped from a game i doubt saving will ever be possible with it but there is always hope someone will port a pc emulator such as mupen

Ok thnx for the reply, but I already knew mario 64 could save (I have it working on a DVD-R). I would like to see some n64 emulator for SD-card of something so we can play all the classics for n64.:cool:
