Maxdrive Help !!!

Dear All~

I got my maxdrive a couple weeks ago . But I can't use it to
transfer my save files to my computer . There are 3 disks
packaged along with maxdrive . I found the one for tranfering
codes and save files is not able to be read by gamecube
(It's for gamecube as described on the disk) . Does anyone
know where can I find the image file to make a new disk ?
I think the procedure for transfering save file is something like
the following :
1 --> Computer to gamecube :
a, use USB port and software to transfer file from computer
to max drive .
b, use that disk to bootup gamecube and transfer save file
from maxdrive to memory card .
2 --> gamecube to Computer :
c, use that disk to bootup gamecube and transfer save file
from memory card to maxdrive .
d, use USB port and software to transfer file from maxdrive
to computer .
So I need the disk anyway . Am I right ?

You need the Gamecube disc to "prepare" the save files so they can be read on the PC. Contact Datel and they will probably send you a replacement.

Your Maxdrive IS the memory card, no need to transfer to another memory card. RTFM ;)

So, how would I transfer save files from computer to GC ?
Is there anyone who knows how to use Maxdrive ?

Hi,
I have been using a Max Drive for a few weeks now to boot GCOS on a PAL cube. To get files on the Max Drive you need to install the Max Drive PC software. When this is installed you can just drag'n'drop stuff onto the Max Drive window. I have moved over a few versions of GCOS and Anaconda (.dol) without problems.

The Max Drive has so far been a real joy to use, highly recommended for its simplicity!

Maxdrive format is not acceptable directly by gamecube .
So what do you do to transfering your files to gamecube ?
by SDload or AR ?

I just recently received my Max Dive Pro,and I cant transfer any files to it from my PC. I installed the software and plugged in the memory card and it is supposed to automatically format it. I drag and drop files,but nothing happens! Anyone know whats going on here,maybe I am just being dumb...:rolleyes: Also,when running MD Pro on my Gamecube my TV screen resolution is too big and I cant see everything,I am thinking maybe I was sent the UK version or something..:confused:
