8000004 Error while loading PSX games in 3.02 OE-B??

i just keep getting the 8000004 error can anybody tell me how to fix it?

yes i did ... the warning screen comes up then it goes black then it returns to the XMB

Turn off Your PSP
Press R and Start it
Go To Configuration --> PSP Game Directory See if its 3.02 Kernel if its not put it to 3.02 kernel
then restart ur psp or exit
go to GAME in the XMB
Press THe Game ..
Your Done!!!

It also helps that you don't have any of the seplugins loaded. I don't think any of them are updated for the new custom firmware.

Same, Thing is the game was working fine not 10 minutes before hand.. Now no games will load..

-edit- I might add this is on a friends PSP and 3.02OE-B was only installed today

I had the same error (95% Certain it was this code). I just deleted my save game and all was OK again. Hope this helps.

I have the same problems, but it's random, if it occures I just simply try again and the game boots... I found out that if you have UMD in your drive the game will not boot at all.

I got this exact error when I messed with hexediting
Deleted the save, game loaded fine
If you do hexedits for the saves after saving with the original non-hexed game, you have to delete the save and let the hexedited game make a new save.

I read, that you dont have to use hexedit, because you can edit the game name with pspbrew to solve the savegame issues

This happens when you save over a previous save and use two different games with the same memory card. Hex Edit your save like the tutorial here shows and delete those old saves because they're useless now.

i put folder with eboot and keys.bin in GAME folder (with kernel 3.02)
but it freeze at boot and give me that error...
Only hot shot golf 2, cool boarders, syphon....work for me....
Converted psx title don't work!!!!!!

on a side note if u reinstalled OE make sure u are on OEB not A

I reinstalled 3.02oeB but i didn't solved my problem!!!!!
The psx games runs fine only on my 512Mb sandisk memory and give me the error 80000004 on 2gb sony memory card !!!!! Why?

try setting the kernal to 1.50 in recovery

No...Converted PSX games won't run...only official Sony....

When you get the error, just go back and try to start the game again. Keep trying and it should work.

The psx games converted with tool don't work only on 2gb memory, but works fine on 512mb !!!!!
But iso, homebrew and officials psx games (hotshotgolf2, cool boarders...) working perfectly in 2gb!!!
only psx game coverted.....WHY?

I'm running 3.02OE-B....but psx games give me that error 80000004 !!!!
Only official psx games work for me....why i have 3.02EO-B but it work as 3.02OE-A ????

I tried the above and didnt work. The way I got it to work was to switch from 3.02 to 1.50 and then it worked perfectly for me:confused: ! It wasnt problems loading the games for me it was problems loading the oe-b update

how many of you are useing x-flash? I had the same prob. but i found it was the
fonts and gameboots and such. reset those and it works like a charm. In 1.5 and 3.02 kernels

No i don't have custom font, gameboot...i have a clean and fresh install 3.02OE-B....

i have the same error when i launch my 3 eboot because the first and the second don't launch the 4 it's OK no error it's the ISO or convertion problem because now my game works very well just the Y position because my game is in PAL format .

Make your ISO whit i used alcohol and i convert files with UltraISO
and i used this for generate my eboot :

You don't have an UP fitted do you? if you are running the firmware off of that it doesn't work either.

do NOT use ultraiso! use alcohol with the clonecd settings (using ps1 settings too) and it will create a .img you use directly!!

As Stated above, remove your savegames from other PSX games. There must be one with the same ID. I had the same error with GT2 that i repacked with compression and the proper ID. After i removed all savegames, it worked again.
