Just been messing about with Final Fantasy 8 and its various discs to see how the emu deals with multi-disc games. Firstly, the bad news is that there is no obvious way to swap discs mid-game. The good news is that the save game I made with the first disc is seen by the disc 2 eboot file, meaning that the Final Fantasy games should be completable bar any game stopping glitches.
However, not all games are like this, Xenogears and Chrono Cross do not allow you to save your game prior to a disc change. So completing these games is seemingly impossible for the time being.
Potentially, if some clever soul works out the save format of the emulator then maybe you can transfer the save file to a PC PS1 emu, advance the game, save it and convert it back to the PSP PS1 emu's format.

Disc 2? You have to get past Psycho Mantis first, and I dont think thats possible currently.

But When we need to replace disc 1 for the disc 2, we can save?

Also, I believe you should use the same PSP PS1 game as the base.php when converting as that generates a set of emulated memory cards unique to each title (goes off the game id). So, say, if you use Tekken 2 to convert disc 1 and Hot Shots Golf 2 to convert disc 1 then you'd get 2 seperate save files and disc 2 would not be able to see disc 1's memory card saves.
Also, about MGS, am I right in assuming you can defeat Sniper Wolf, save your game, reboot the PSP and start disc 2 and use that save ? In other words, it won't ask for disc 1 when I load up the save.
Edit : Forgot about Psycho Mantis. Well, looks like the only way round that is a save game converter.

Then if I generate FF7 disc 1 eboot using hot shot golf, and I save at the end of disc 1, and generate FF7 disc 2 also using hot shot golf, I will can continue the game?

Do not think the afte Sniper Wolf save method works.
When you load the game it instantly asks for disc 1.
Futhermore, Psycho Mantis is beatable without controller swapping. But very difficult.

Yup, a quick test with FF8 showed that disc 2 saw my disc 1 save. Both generated with HSG2.

In parasite eve 1, is it possible to save at the end of disc 1? Anyone Knows?

I played Parasite Eve 1 recently and I'm pretty certain you can't save before the disc change.
