Popcorn Popper [For DA's Popstation]

I still feel like I'm new here but alot of you all have helped me and I wanted to do something to continue the community and helping process. So I made this to help a few people. All it does it makes things a little easier when using Dark Alex's Popstation.exe. I know sooner or later somone will make a nice GUI version but this is a simple bat file version. This will make it alot easier for you to convert your PSX games for use on the PSP.

just rename your file to psx.(keep the extension you already using)
execute the correspoding bat file to you extension and woohoo game time.

Yes its simple as hell and doesn't really do much that about 90% of the people could proably do but I wanted to try and do something for everyone.

I mean I have the ISO and I have that .DLL File, Every time I press on that popthing I get that black box but about a SEC. it dessapears... Some help please?

did you rename the file to psx.(whatever extension)

Also remember you need to have the hotshots files in the directory as well.

try running if from the command prompt!

START/RUN/CMD

then browse to the directory and add the filename...

if the CMD box is dissapearing straight away, you must have something not quite right.

I added a baccground for PIC1.PNG
Its simple but helps not having all games with the Hot Shots baccground.

MGS does work although not sure about the swtiching disc part but heard it works. Glad this helped make it easier for you.

As of right now you have to download the actual hot shots 2 game off the sony network via a PS3. I've found a torrent on torrentspy, but it isn't dl'ing and I don't even know if it's legit. It says "Hot Shots 2 Dark Alex." For all I know, it could be a brick virus... So, I'm waiting to get it from a reliable source other than the Sony network.

only works on 3.02OE-b
which you need a 1.5 psp to get there, or have custume firmware already, and in that case just upgrade.

Mmm... not sure what you mean there, are you talking about converting PSX games, PICS etc???
But one thing though this only applies to v.3.02 OE-B firmware, either upgrade from v.1.5 or v.2.71 Special Editions (i think v.2.71 B/C) not sure but search in the forums

I have to ask, for those people w/out a PS3, where are you getting the hot shots 2 game? If there's some l337 club you have to be in to get it, I'll just wait. But if someone knows an easy route, it'd be much appreciated.
