Want info on th PSX eboots on 3.02 OE-A?

Three files in here.

When you are in the game and press home you get four options.
Assign Buttons
Screen Mode (normal, stretch, fullscreen)
Software Manual
Quit Game

Any other questions, ask and yes it runs fine.

My question is after someone buys the game how is it shared to other people?

I'm assuming they just upload it using any uploader site. After they transfer it to the PSP they just take the folder and transfer it to the PC then upload.

I got a Crash coming in 10 minutes, can't wait :D

but it is not a psar (it is just in the same place as psar goes in update pbp's) it is the iso of the game (encrypted)

That is exactly why Sony restricted the Psx games on the Psp to those who own a PS3. Not only do they want people who already own the actual Discs to purchase the same game again, they also want you to buy a PS3 to play them on your Psp. I won't be doing any of that. I would have been perfectly happy to buy the games from an online store and then to play these on my Psp but Sony have simply been greedy and will now most likely pay for doing so.

Of course, eventually you will be able to play them without needing a PS3 but it is obvious they could have done this straight away since I have been playing Hotshots perfectly.

mmm so what can i say to dark_alex or some1 that would/CAN HLP ME:

1)create pls a tool that lets us to make own psx backup games :rolleyes:
2)create a tools that let me to rip games...u or some1 said that da psar file is the iso encrypted...so if i manage to open it i shoukd make a ripkit...

what i say is only an idea im pretty noob about cracking/programming!!! so dont flame me...:p maybe da that cracked da protection knows a way to make a tool...maybe ill hlp u to fit more game bought from pss on your ms!! hi

Nice, there are already scene releases of these coming, at least I just spotted one, sad that it's a crappy game (Hot Shots Golf 2), but hopefully there'll be better one's out soon..

So are the encrypted isos inside the eboot exact copies of the original psone games? Or have they recompiled the psone games - thus not actually using emulation but ported the psone games to the psp? :confused:

Just bought Medievil which was released in us yesterday, and it wont play. It says it needs firmware 3.03. I hex edited the eboot.pbp where it says 3.03 to 3.02 and the game starts, then exits with an error. I am running 3.02oe.

Hot Shots 2 works perfectly, I had problems with Crash at first, but it's fine now

To Dark_Alex, it's possible to decrypt those ISO at least isn't it ? Encrypting not possbile problably, got to crack the whole emulator problably and most likely it won't run other ISO's than the official games.

Ok, that's it for this thread. I know the starter meant well by spreading info, but now it's just out of hand with ppl asking where to illegally obtain these games.
