Does Phoenix intend to develop any other forms of Legal alternatives to booting homebrew code on the Microsoft Xbox. Just curious as the things we've been presented with of late have been dramatical in their advance into allowing the Xbox to boot unsigned / resigned code with the means of a legal method.
Will we be seeing BIOS Enhancements or anything else?. Just curious that's all :-)

I'm afraid I cant say too much in regards to that, but big things are in the works. What I can say is that all of Phoenix's releases will remain 100% legal. This means XDK free (yes, contrary to popular belief, applications compiled with the Microsoft xdk ARE illegal), and distributed without any copyrighted code. The only time we will break copyright, is when the license of the code we're "stealing" allows it, such as the GPL, and even then we will adhere to the requirements set forth in the license. (Which will usually mean Open Source, for the scene to learn from, and improve upon our works!)
This will, of course, be a difficult task, as the Microsoft XDK provides a very nice, cushy environment to develop within. Outside of the XDK, it's a cold, harsh world, where you often dont even have the most basic of niceties usually available to a programmer. However, we have a few tricks ready that we hope will, one day, get the scene away from this illegitimate and illegal development environment, and into an even more capable and powerfull, publicly available, and 100% legal development kit. Of course, this will take time, and effort, so be patient.
What else? Bios enhancements? Who knows.
More features in the Loader? Isn't that a given?
More bioses loading in the loader? That's highest priority right now.
What else? We'll see!

Excellent post, I hope to see more in-depth information coming from another person within the scene who I can relate to in terms of the GNU / GPL etc. etc..
If I had the time I would love to contribute to modifying the Xbox Console "Legally".
anyway, keep up the excellent work :-)
