Strong rumor has it that TV shows will cost 240 MS points on the Live network, with a SD movie rental costing 320 and 480 points for the same movie in HD. For a rental, you can keep it for 14 days until you begin to watch it (lasting for 24 hrs in total). A HD movie version of Batman will take up 5.4GB of space.

It costs about $20 for 1600 points. So thats about $6 per HD movie. That's a little pricey in my opinion. Those with Digital cable or Satellite can get it for 3-4 bucks and they don't have to wait for it to steam onto their 360.

I dont understand how people think this isnt a awesome deal. If you go to BlockBuster to rent a NON HD movie on DVD. Its going to cost you 5-7 bucks.

Now with this service you dont have to leave your house, (save gas) you have movies on your 360 within minutes, and you have movies in HD, for around the same price.

Indeed it's not, it's probably somewhere in 5 bucks. Which is actually very cheap for a HD Movie, have any of you tried renting an HD DVD Movie yet? V_V I payed 10 bucks for a 5 day rental at 2 places, Hollywood video and Family Video (It's a Video Revue affiliate). True right now you can only have 2 movies at a time or so, but that's pretty damn good since even I don't rent make HD Movies at once, because A. they're expensive and B. I don't want to get too much to watch, and end up never watching it. lol

I wonder if the rental movies can be uploaded to a PC and cracked with a DRM cracking tool.

Cause if you go to a torrent site and download that same movie you get to keep it as long as you like and it costs you about $0, which equals about 0 Livecreditpoint thingies.

You sir, probably just got yourself banned. ;) And hopefully no IRAA people read this site. Not only is it Illegal, it's always a crappy ass version that they put on Torrent Sites.
