Hello. I recently had to repair an individual's PSP. He was having sound issues, and I had to replace the circuit board with the headphone jack, memory stick slot, and wifi adapter. It solved the problem for the sound, but he came back to me today because he couldn't use wifi on his PSP anymore. I tried switching the circuit board again, and same thing, so I doubt it's a problem with the circuit boards themselves.

I noticed, though, that on his original circuit board it has a different wifi adapter. His has a slightly longer, blue piece of circuit board (not what else to call it) underneath the metal casing than the wifi cards that I have. Is that the problem? Do only certain wifi adapters work with certain motherboards? If no, can anyone speculate else might be the problem? Thanks.

yes there are funky results using different wifi boards with different motherboards..
im not to sure which wifi goes out on which boards.
the ta-082 board does not like the sound controller on the older daughterboards, it thinks there is a head phones pluged in when there isnt, and viceversa
