how does one upload save files to NDS?

Hello, I am really new to this, and I have no idea how to upload a save file(.duc) to my NDS, I just have AR DS, what else do I need?

Please be patient and help a nub out!

I use the Action Replay DS to cheat DS games and all, but my one stopped working so I'm trying to fix it at the moment.

But to use saved files on DS you need the Action Replay Max Duo for GBA/DS, http://us.codejunkies.com/shop/product.asp?c=GB&cr=GBP&cs=£&r=1&l=1&ProdID=315 . Basically upload the cheats on that cart and then upload it on the DS game.
