Action Replay DS Problems

I bought an Action Replay DS (AR DS) and it doesn't function properly. Basically I installed it correctly and installed the drivers, but when I connect the AR DS to my computer it gives me the message, "The device cannot be recognised or it may have malfunctioned... Unknown Device". My computer meets the requirments in using the AR DS, it is a Windows XP Home Edition, Has over 256MB RAM, Has over 10MB Disc Space, Has a 2.0 USB Port, Has a Broadband Internet Connection, etc. and I still get the message. I used the AR DS on both XP SP1 and XP SP2, and it gives the same message. I then uninstalled the drivers and tried installing it again and it still did not work, and gave the same message. Do you know what I should do? The AR DS works on the DS Consoles and can execute cheats, but it does not get recognised by my computer so I cannot add the cheats. The PC Link was a good idea, but being able to write codes in would be helpfull using the stylus. Could anyone help me?

When the Action Replay application loads, there’s a mouse symbol on the main menu which activates USB mode. Make sure you’ve allowed the application to load to this stage. Also, make sure your console has been shown as ‘installed’ within the device manager. To access device manger, right-click on the ‘My Computer’ icon, select Properties, select Hardware and select Device Manager. If the device is not installed, it’s shown with a yellow question or exclamation mark.

so, Ive done all that, and it still wont install my hardware. It says it cant find the driver.
and I've been waiting for about a month for the tech support guy to email me back.

thanks for trying to help but it does not work that way, as I said I tried uninstalling the drivers than reinstalling them again but had no luck.

So I figured let's just send it back to Play.com the company where I bought it from. And I did, and they sent a new one to me. That one works great, it still works when I use it, so I guess it was something wrong with my old ARDS cartridge.

oh yeah and do not update the filmware on it i did that and now it wont load the effin games

Yeah, thats basically a copy/paste of the FAQ on codejunkies.com.

I just need the driver, or installer software for it.
my disc cracked, and target wont take it back, or exchange it.
