Well looky looky here, we landed an Xbox HD DVD drive. We're already all well aware of what it can and can't do; we just know you want the pics of the unboxing, it sitting next to the Xbox, and maybe a few bonus shots next to a real life HD DVD player.

I bought this today..its pretty nice, not sure if its worth 200 bucks for HD movies though. I can still see grains in the film. I think new films that used special cameras like superman returns is what its going to be all about.

My HDTV has an option for "Film grain effect" I never use i though.

If your not using a 1080p or atleast 720p your not going to notice a big differance from DVD.

Really? Dvds are 480 right? When I switch the 360 from 480i to 480p I notice a big difference. Now if I switch it to 1080i I notice a world of difference. From 720p to 1080i I dont really see that much of a difference if any at all. So, with the HD-DVD they say you can't see the difference from a regular DVD running 480p to the HD-DVD running at 1080i?
