I had to open my PSP and after putting it back together the analog stick didnt work. I bought a new one because while it was out the cat knocked it on the floor but even with the new one it doesnt work it is as if it is stuck to the right . I dont know if I missed somthing when putting it back together or what. Please, any input would be a big help.
Thanks

i think you missed the small rubber that's sitting in the lcd casing just above the 4 gold points on the motherboard that control the analog stick.

Acutally I found a way to fix it, Its not pretty but it works, I bought a pony clamp #3201 with the soft plastic handles. I clamp it next to the joystick and it puts pressure on the analog unit and makes it work correctly

I recently replaced my psp motherboard and i lost the little thing that connects the analog stick to the motherboard. It sits in the metal housing. I attached a picture of what it looks like.

I tried to make a washer out of plastic and i ended up totally destroying my psp so I bought a used one at ebgames cause they dropped the price to $159 plus a one year warrantee for $20. I got a 2.6 updatedf it to 2.71 then downgraded it to 1.50 then updated it to 2.71 sec and all is great. Now my old psp is a mp3/movie player.
