Analog Stick problem

Well i was cleaning my psp out i didn't notice i pulled face plate off unevenly, Later i find my analog stick (the one inside) is screwed up, i play GTA vice city stories and character keeps moving down by it self.

Do i have to replace it or can i fix it?

did you loose the rubbery contact that fits snug into the metal housing??

I think psp must calibrate the analog somehow, I broke my analog while it was moving down and I think tha when I turned it off the psp got calibrated this way because now It moves downwards with the analog removed , while I wait to get the new one

I recently replaced my psp motherboard and i lost the little rubbery contact that goes in between the analog stick and the motherboard. So i need to buy one. I attached a picture of what it looks like.
