The 60GB HDD has been spotted on a picture from the Fall 2006 Update shown at the MS press event. 20GB is not enough for many and rumours of a 200GB were quashed. If true this means MS would be matching the 60GB capacity of the PS3.

Ill belive it when its confirmed, there was pictures of a 360 with a 100gb harddrive but that never happend either...

20gb is enough unless they open up the 360 and allow you to store you own video's on it... which will never happen.

COOL. So the 60 gig HD will cost....hmmm, let's see, 129.99 (Canadian) times 3,
390 Dollars plus tax. NICE!

I wouldnt be suprised if theyre trying to match the ps3, 20 gb to 60 would be a relatively cheap upgrade afterall.

It's also a bit of a senseless one imo. Unless something will run homebrew, and/or games form the harddrive, what's the added advantage of having 40 GB?

Because I'm constantly shuffling downloads due to disc space getting low. I like to keep my demos and such unless I really don't want them anymore.

you only get what? about 13gb of the supposed 20gb anyway due to all the stuff needed for xbox games and the os itself. also since the 20gb drive is $100 id hate to see what they would charge for a 60

How many years has it been since HDD prices were based entirely on their size? Besides, any SATA notebook HDD will be expensive.

But in this instance, it's not even known if this is another photoshop job (like the 100 GB HDD announcement was), a development station, or an actual upcoming product.

Havok,

I had the same problem until I subscribed to OXM, most demos wind up on the disc sooner or later so I delete them once I get them on the disc. Hell I dl'ed the R6 demo the other day and two days later the mag came with the same demo. The only other thing I can see them doing it for is like the PS3, having the game dumped to the HDD for faster loading.
