Yep and firmware checker, i think they are doing opposite to sony, instead of making them update they have there own choice to or not and all the tasty addons will get people updating.

Video Streamin in XP?
I use MCE and Transcode 360 so not desperate..... but any word if it's still just MS endorsed video or will it be XviD/DivX? I'm guessing the former.... but you have to hope eh?

Let me be crystal clear on my point:
- Nothing against baning backups OnLine
- Nothing against baning backups OffLine
But if Microsoft decides the best is to ban consoles and/or render them useless, throwing away profits from their ginea-pig (Xbox Live), then they DESERVE to lose the nextgen war.
Like I have said, nothing against defending the developers. But nevertheless baning the console alltogether when you are still making something out of it is plain stupid.
I think it's all said..
For the record I have just acquired a 360 with PES6, looking fab. From my Sony experience and knowing Microsoft's past, I must say that Microsoft shure needs to learn something from them on how to make a buck out of even pirates.. They have shown progress, will they keep it up?

I found this Update of the news on the German website Areaxbox.de
Microsoft is going to confirm the 31st of October as the date for the autumn update soon. The XNA Menu and the already listed features will be integrated tomorrow into the Dashboard in Germany, too.
Sorry for my bad english I'm a bit tired^^.
and here the original text:
Microsoft wird den 31.10. als Termin fürs Herbst Update in Kürze offiziell bestätigen. Auch in Deutschland werden XNA-Menü und bereits aufgezählte Komponenten morgen ins Dashboard integriert werden.

There are rumors of Dvix/Xvid support, but i did not have the necessary hardware (PC) at the time to confirm this.
maybe Xvid should've just gotten a brian and used the Mpeg-4 Part 14 codec instead of the Mpeg-4 Part 2 codec...then it would be supported for devices like this.

One of the stupidest answers I've ever seen. Royalties from 5 games = your Xbox Live subscription. Quit trying to make justification for your actions. If this is true, good for Microsoft
