View Full Version : 360 Oeufs Brouillés - Scrambled eggs 360 style
Yep, you guessed it. Some genius decided to open a 360 and cook a scrambled egg on the GPU heatsink. Hot stuff!

There's a reason why modern PCs have fans and heatsinks -- without them, they're easy-bake ovens. I imagine some idiot will attempt the same sort of idiocy with the PS3 eventually, while others confuse it for news.

Yeah, the idiot should have sent it to me and I would have gladly sent it into MS to have it repaired. Hmmm let me remove the fans from my GeForce 6800 and my Athlon processor and see what happens. Do you think it will get hot? I think the Athlon will burst into flames or atleast give off some smoke. There aren't fans mounted on top of the GPU or processor in the 360. Cooling is supplied by a duct that connects to the fans in the back. That's a pretty dumb system but I guess they did that for a reason. Wow what a dumb ass video. I was waiting for his fork to hit one of the capacitors. That might have been worth watching.

LOL, I was thinking the same thing. That would have been great.

I still find it funny, though:) Of course it wouldn't be as hot w/ a fan in place, but the sad part is that the fans in the 360 required to cool this much down sounds like a small engine taking off, which stands in the face of why I got into largely console gaming and away from PC gaming, to avoid the sound of four or five fans running while I play...
