Ok got my hands on a TA-082, question is..
are the new motherboards swapable with a TA-081? Will all the connections line up on a TA-082?
With the way $ony is.. I'm betting they moved stuff and made some different connections so that this wouldn't be possible.. still crossing my fingers though.
So does anyone know if it can be done?
thanks guys

Well I can't believe that nobody has replied at all o.O
For a forum with so many people who know so much..
I just need to know if I bought a replacement motherboard.. ANY other motherboard (some on Ebay from Hong Kong with 1.5fw already on them) will work in place of a Bricked TA-082 board.. Can anyone let me know if I can use another board in that system? or is there something on that board that is needed to run the rest of the stuff in the PSP?
I hope it's like a PC motherboard.. pull it out.. swap in the new one, plug in the acessories..
Please let me know guys =/ Don't wanna buy a motherboard and not be able to use it. Thanks!

Same with u bro, i got PSP TA-082 Board and just bricked it while updating to 2.71 original firmware.
I'm planning to buy 1.5 board but want to have some opinnion bout this.
is the TA-082 PSP Component compatibel with 1.5 board ( for example ta-79 or ta-80)?
Or should i wait until there is a mod chip for ta-082 board?
Suggestion really appreciated
thx:)

If you read this forum you can read that someone tried it, but he got into trouble with the metal plate under the motherboard, it's different on a ta-082 than the other metal plates . So you'll have to modify it so it doesnt short out your new motherboard...
